Max Runham jumping over the gap.

Chase's gap is a roof gap in Basingstoke. The name comes from the fact that Chase Armitage was the first to film himself jumping over the gap[citation needed] for his 2006 showreel Vision.

On 9 July, 2009, Alex Watts released his 2009 showreel, in which he front flips the roof gap.[1] On August 25 later that year, the video TemporarySummerRandomsTeaser featured a clip of Ben Taplin of Apex Media doing a front flip over the gap.[2]
