• July 1 - An improved Kalenji Success have been announced which will be in stores December 2011
• June 26 - Scott Skelton makes a return to tricking after a year-long injury
• May 25 - The Alliance freerunning film, featuring Pip Andersen, Scott Jackson, Tim Shieff and others, goes on sale.
• May 1 - Urban Freeflow start the FR World Series video competition
• April 2 - Tempest Freerunning launch their own freerunning academy
• March 21 - Tim Shieff wins Red Bull Art of Motion 2011, followed by Marcus Gustaffson and Ryan Doyle
• February 6 - Finnish freerunner Herttua releases a new video, with some unique trick variations including a straddled monkey gainer
• January 22 - Bjarke Hellden from Team JiYo releases a 2010 mashup video
