The double backflip or double backtuck is originally a gymnastics move, regularly performed on a trampoline, and also seen in floor events. It consists of 2 consecutive backflips without touching the ground in between.
If an acrobat wants to do this trick on floor, they must gain high speed (e.g. with back handsprings) and a lot of height through blocking. In free running this move is also seen performed from standing off a height.
Attempts have been made, mainly by gymnasts but including free runners such as Brett Curry, to land the move from standing on level ground with the help of mats. However, as of yet there is so far no evidence of the move being landed on level ground without the use of mats.It also should be noted that you need tremendous willpower in order to attempt this stunt as it is one of very high caliber.
