A KUK vault is a vault used in parkour and free running, which involves handspringing over the obstacle, and then planting and pushing off your hands finishing it like a dash vault to make the extra distance to clear the obstacle.

The vault can be done from a one or two footed take off, however it is generally accepted that the one footed take off is more efficient.

There have been concerns among traceurs about whether the KUK vault is indeed an efficient movement, as often it is much safer and quicker to either kash the obstacle or to kong/double kong.
